It was definitely a good idea to come to Europe with no expectations, because they would've been blown away almost immediately. Outside of smiling awkwardly and hoping they understand what I'm trying to order while getting dinner, Barcelona is incredible. The people are easy going, the nightlife doesn't stop until we see daylight, and the architecture is simply mind-blowing.
It's hard to explain without actually being able to show what I've seen, but in the short time I've been here, I've realized that the mission of life here is simply to live and understand what part of the journey you're on. I'm finally living in the right part of mine. I only hope I'll be able to keep that perspective when I get back to the 9-5 this summer in New York.
