The Reunion

Deep sky, oh silver sieve aloft
Watch me as I pass through the gates

Enchanting eyes dare I defy
To become lost within escape

It doesn't need us
Yet we deposit our need for it
into little banks of memories

When we believed
That a tree house was a spaceship,
a vast defense against armies

Let's redesign a time when simplicity was the fashion
Meditate on the development of another chapter

Coexisting growth as we simply try to find our place
As the foliage leads to a cold that finally forces our reunited warm embrace
